I'm an Associate Professor of Applied Economics and Policy at Cornell University with appointments in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management and the Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy. I'm also Faculty Fellow at the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability. My research group seeks to advance how humans adapt to environmental change. My recent work focuses on estimating the impacts of climate change and extreme weather on agriculture and other sectors.

I have editorial responsabilities at various academic journals including the Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, Climatic Change, Environmental Research: Food Systems and the Journal of Wine Economics.

Until recently, I was part of the author team of the Economics chapter of the Sixth National Climate Assessment.
