I'm Associate Professor of Applied Economics and Policy at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management and Jeb Brooks School of Public Policy at Cornell University. I'm also Faculty Fellow at the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability. My research group seeks to advance how humans adapt to environmental change. My recent work focuses on estimating the impacts of climate change and extreme weather on agriculture and other sectors.

I have editorial responsabilities at various academic journals including the Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Climatic Change, Environmental Research: Food Systems and the Journal of Wine Economics.

I'm currently an author of the Economics chapter of the Sixth National Climate Assessment (2024-2027). I'm also a Board Director of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE) (2022-2024) and co-host of AERE@OSWEET, AERE's online seminar for junior scholars.
